For Immediate Release: The Dover, Rollinsford, South Berwick Lions Club welcomes Kennebunk Savings Bank as a Bronze Sponsor for our Second Annual Charity Corn Hole Tournament!
The Corn Hole Tournament, which takes place at The Barn at Dunn Farm in Berwick, Maine on August 12, 2023, will benefit pediatric cancer research at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth. Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsorships are available through June 14, 2023.
Last year the group raised $3400 for Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Health thanks to the local business community that rallied to support the cause. This year’s goal is to raise $10,000 for Dartmouth Health Children’s, New Hampshire's only children's hospital. According to Sarah E. Earnest, Development Officer of the Dartmouth Cancer Center, Dartmouth is poised to have a direct and immediate impact on preventing cancer in children as a national leader in cancer research. Dartmouth researchers are working to refine approaches, protocols, and education for pediatric screening in a way that empowers doctors and parents — and saves children’s lives.
Turnout is expected to exceed 500 people, including players and spectators. Sponsors will be featured on T-shirts, banners, plus additional options.

The Lions Club of Dover, Rollinsford and South Berwick is a member of the Lions Club International, which began in 1917. Their motto is “We Serve.” The club gathers on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at Cara Irish Pub in Dover.
