The Art Center is proud to present "Something Cosmic," a solo exhibition by resident artist and sculptor Aaron Stanley, on view from July 7 through August 30, 2025.
As a kinetic artist, Aaron Stanley's work explores the electric intersection of science, motion, and imagination. With a background rooted in both hand craftsmanship and digital precision, Stanley crafts sculptures that oscillate between the traditional and the cutting-edge. His studio hums with the harmony of sawdust and circuitry—a place where timeless materials meet the future.
"My process begins with a deep reverence for the hidden principles that govern the natural world," Stanley explains. "Through a synthesis of hand tools and high-tech methods, I strive to create works that are bold, imaginative, and perpetually in motion."
In "Something Cosmic," Stanley invites viewers into a universe where light dances, air animates, and simplicity reigns supreme. Inspired by Michelangelo's philosophy that "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication," Stanley's sculptures avoid overanalysis, instead offering an open invitation to wonder, laughter, and delight.
Join us for an Artist Reception on Friday, August 2, from 6–9 pm, where guests will have the opportunity to meet the artist and experience his mesmerizing work in person.
