The Hill Library presents: HENRY DEARBORN 1751-1829:FROM CAPTAIN TO CABINET SECRETARY on Wednesday, April 17 Beginning 6 pm at the Hill Library, 1151 Parker Mtn Rd, Strafford. Dearborn would serve on Washington’s staff, two terms in Congress, as a cabinet secretary, and Minister to Portugal. But in 1818 he found himself the center of a controversy.
