Not One, But Two Great Musical Events at Garrison Players Arts Center in November

 

Linda Pouliot Sings Jazz, Blues, and American Favorites

Linda Pouliot, a Northern New Hampshire native has been singing ever since she can remember. She took the stage in 2006, when she moved to the beautiful Seacoast area, and her dream has taken her to Boston & Cambridge MA; Biddeford & Lewiston ME; Newmarket & Portsmouth NH, as well as other New England establishments and festivals. She began writing her own songs in 2007. Since then, she has been writing and recording original songs of  jazz, blues, French jazz, cabaret, folk and country. Accompanied by three musicians: Charles Jennison - Piano & Horn, Bryan Killough - Guitar, and John Hunter - Bass. Music will include songs of Billie Holiday, Norah Jones, Gypsy Jazz Swing, Songs from the Great American Songbook, French songs by the Great Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour etc., and original songs from Linda's French Heritage. With a  new line-up and new tunes, come see long-time T9ers Mark and Tim and meet newbies Sue, Ashley, Cindie, and Bob, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary with a cappella versions of pop, rock, and light jazz tunes from Don Henley, Gotye, Cher, James Brown, The Beach Boys, Dolly Parton, Radiohead, The Jackson 5, Kacey Musgraves, The Turtles, Alice Merton, and others.  Saturday, November 9 at 7:00pm.
