Moonlight Hike on New Year’s Eve Wednesday, December 31st at 7:00pm to hike the open spaces of the Samuel A. Tamposi Water Supply Reserve (SATWaSR). Bring your warm clothes, suitable footwear and a headlamp/flashlight to the SATWaSR parking lot at 50 Tibbetts Road. RSVP to barrtrails@gmail.com

We share the lore of Santa Claus in Barrington and rededicate the trail in his honor.

We found Santa holed up one summer in the woods of Barrington while cutting new trails and named the trail in his honor. The marker has gone missing again (Elf on a Shelf?), so we will rededicate the trail with decoration and song.
Length ~ 3 miles, time ~ 2 hrs.
Join Jack Gale and the Barrington Trails Committee at the SATWaSR West parking lot off Tibbetts Road.
Dress for the weather, your favorite holiday gear, and don your boots for a winter hike to honor the Big Guy. Stay on the Nice List by leaving the dogs at home. Please RSVP to barrtrails@gmail.com, because if conditions are not suitable, we will not go.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas Storytime on Wednesday, December 17th beginning 6:00 PM at the Barrington Public Library. Pajamas and/or slippers are optional, but definitely a fun way to participate in this festive event. Come by to enjoy the classic story, have some holiday refreshments, and greet a special visitor. No registration required.
Care Giver Café on Wednesday, December 16 at 10:30am. Join Cornerstone VNA at the Barrington Public Library and meet other Barrington area family caregivers. Come for a morning of support, education and conversation. No registration is required.

Details/Comments: We have an event coming up that is always very successful. This is our 7th year.
It is a fun event with Free Native Flower Seeds given away. Information Resources are displayed and given out . There are snacks and hands on activities.
Pollinator Pathways NH is not a garden club. We are a teaching and information group dedicated to helping to save habitat for pollinators. We are focused on showing people that you can help Restore Habitat One Yard at a Time.

43rd Annual Cocheco Quilt Show on October 25-26th from 10 am – 4 pm at the James W. Foley Memorial Center 150 Wakefield St. Rochester. $10 admission for a two day pass; no charge for children under 12 accompanied by an adult. More than 200 quilts, a penny sale, raffles, door prizes, food and quilt appraisals.
Barrington Women’s Club Holiday Craft Fair on November 8th from 8am – 2pm at 731 Franklin Pierce Hwy, Barrington (American Legion) This is one of our most popular fundraising events! Proceeds go towards scholarships for Barrington HS students. Handmade items by the ladies of the BWC! Same day as the Craft Fair at the Middle School. Make it a day of crafting!
