Art Center presents “Fragment & Form”

At The Art Center of Dover

The Art Center is pleased to present “Fragment & Form,” a solo exhibition featuring acrylic and collage works by artist Ree Katrak.

The exhibition is on display now through October 31, 2026.

In Fragment & Form, Katrak explores the expressive possibilities that emerge when color, shape, texture, line, and layered materials come together. Her abstract compositions are energetic and intuitive, balancing bold areas of color with quieter passages, gestural marks, unexpected forms, and subtle shifts in texture.

Working in acrylic and collage allows Katrak to build each composition gradually, adding, obscuring, revealing, and reworking elements along the way. Fragments become part of a larger visual language, creating works that invite viewers to look closely and discover relationships that may not be immediately apparent.

Presented together, the works create a compelling visual conversation. Recurring colors, shapes, marks, and gestures move from one piece to another, while each maintains its own individual character. Fragment & Form celebrates the process of bringing seemingly disparate elements together to create something new and unexpected.

The public is invited to attend the Artist Reception on Saturday, October 3, from 6:00–9:00 PM, to meet Ree Katrak, experience Fragment & Form, and enjoy an evening at The Art Center.
