North Cemetery: Stories Carved in Stone Tours. Established in 1753, the stories span nearly two centuries and include Revolutionary-era figures, physicians, African American residents, and many others. Twice a week in October, Thursdays, 4:00-5:30 pm and Saturdays, 2:00-3:30 pm. $20 member/ $25 non-member. Register at www.portsmouthhistory.org.
