‘Who Doesn’t Love a Parade? On Saturday June 27, 2026 (yes, a whole year to get ready) the Town of Lee Nation’s 250th Committee is hosting a parade in celebration of our country becoming the United States of America. Over the next few weeks, we will be asking specific groups or types of groups to sign up and join in. Look for announcements in the Town of Lee E-Crier; and these Facebook groups: Lee the People; Lee NH Historical Society; Neighborhood Lee; The Unofficial Lee, NH; and the Community Discussion Group for Lee, Durham, and Madbury. Then help get the word out; tell all your friends and family. We’ll be looking for floats, bands, marchers, riders, walkers, wagons, critters, banners, and balloons. Let’s make this as big as the Lee Bicentennial Parde in 1976 and the parade Celebrating Lee’s 250 years as a town in 2026.’
