The Art Center is proud to announce the opening of its first photography exhibition, Across America, running from September 9 through October. This visually captivating show features the work of 28 photographers from Maine to California, offering a unique collection that captures the diverse beauty and stories of America.
Across America presents a broad cross-section of images, reflecting contemporary trends in photography. The exhibition showcases a mix of styles—from stunning works of fine art to more documentary approaches, and many pieces that blend both. Together, these photographs tell compelling stories of life and landscape across the United States.
Visitors can expect to explore a variety of genres, including landscapes, abstracts, self-portraits, street photography, and more. The show includes breathtaking depictions of iconic places such as Denali National Park, Acadia National Park, the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and canyons in Arizona. Other highlights feature a deserted highway in New Mexico, vintage automobiles, ocean scenes, and striking seasonal details like ice-encrusted logs and fall leaves. Each piece is skillfully rendered, showcasing the artistry and talent of the participating photographers.
Whether capturing the political climate, cultural nuances, or natural wonders, these photographs offer a thought-provoking glimpse into American life. From serene harbor scenes in Maine to the rugged beauty of the Rocky Mountains and the vastness of the Yukon Territory, the exhibition spans a wide array of subjects that are sure to resonate with visitors.
An artist reception will be held on Saturday, October 5, from 6-9 p.m., where guests can meet the photographers and gain deeper insight into their creative processes.

Cornerstone VNA Welcomes New Hospice Care Director
Rochester, NH – Cornerstone VNA, a trusted nonprofit home health provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Nichols, RN, MSN, CCM, IQCER, as the new Hospice Care Director. Lisa brings a strong background in nursing leadership, case management, and quality patient care. She is excited to further strengthen Cornerstone VNA’s mission of providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients and their families.
Lisa is a Registered Nurse, with a Master’s degree in nursing, and a certificate in Executive Leadership from Perdue University Global. She is a certified InterQual instructor and a certified case manager, bringing a wealth of expertise in training, developing, and motivating nursing teams to deliver top-quality patient care. Lisa is known for her supportive and empowering leadership style and has a proven track record in policy development, cost-saving initiatives, and effective teaching. Lisa is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Case Management Society of America, the American Case Management Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Her vision for the future of hospice care at Cornerstone VNA includes a focus on continuous improvement, patient education, and fostering a compassionate care environment for both patients and their families.
