Dover, Rollinsford and South Berwick Lions Club Supports Reach for the Top Therapy Services

Dover, Rollinsford and South Berwick Lions Club Supports Reach for the Top Therapy Services

August 6, 2025 — The Dover, Rollinsford and South Berwick Lions Club has proudly awarded $500 to Reach for the Top Therapy Services, (reachftt.org) with an additional $500 provided as a matching grant from NH Lions Youth Services. The donation will help further Reach for the Top’s mission of providing trauma-informed, neurodiverse-affirming therapies to children in the Dover area.

As the only clinic in the region offering these specialized services under the guiding principle “Nothing About Us, Without Us,” Reach for the Top ensures that individuals with disabilities have a voice in their care. Executive Director Amy Rich Crane shared, “Because of this donation, a child will take their first bite of food, improve their visual motor skills, or simply feel safe and seen for who they are. These are the small, powerful moments that change lives — and they happen because our community shows up. Partnerships like this remind us we’re not in this alone. It’s community taking care of community, and that’s what makes this work possible — not just for kids, but for families, caregivers, and the team holding them up.”

“Something Cosmic”

“Something Cosmic” – A Solo Exhibition by Resident Artist Aaron Stanley

On Display: July 7 – August 30, 2025

Artist Reception: Friday, August 2, 6–9 pm

The Art Center is proud to present “Something Cosmic,” a solo exhibition by resident artist and sculptor Aaron Stanley, on view from July 7 through August 30, 2025.

As a kinetic artist, Aaron Stanley’s work explores the electric intersection of science, motion, and imagination. With a background rooted in both hand craftsmanship and digital precision, Stanley crafts sculptures that oscillate between the traditional and the cutting-edge. His studio hums with the harmony of sawdust and circuitry—a place where timeless materials meet the future.

“My process begins with a deep reverence for the hidden principles that govern the natural world,” Stanley explains. “Through a synthesis of hand tools and high-tech methods, I strive to create works that are bold, imaginative, and perpetually in motion.”

In “Something Cosmic,” Stanley invites viewers into a universe where light dances, air animates, and simplicity reigns supreme. Inspired by Michelangelo’s philosophy that “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication,” Stanley’s sculptures avoid overanalysis, instead offering an open invitation to wonder, laughter, and delight.

Join us for an Artist Reception on Friday, August 2, from 6–9 pm, where guests will have the opportunity to meet the artist and experience his mesmerizing work in person.

The Art Center is located at 1 Washington Street, Suite 1177, Dover, NH.

Gallery Hours: Monday–Friday 10 am–6 pm, Saturday 10 am–2 pm.
