We’re excited to announce the fourth annual Piscataqua Riverfest!
- Traditional boat show of stunning wooden boats on the grounds of Strawbery Banke
- Maritime demonstrations including a blacksmith, oar making, rope maker, wood art, touch tank, science experiments, and remote control boat models
- Vendors of unique maritime goods
- Food trucks
- Desserts including cupcakes, cake pops, and ice cream sandwiches & sundaes
- A beer garden served by Maeve’s Mobile Cocktail Hour with local brews
- Musical performances from local musicians
- Family fun activities including Lindsay & Her Puppet Pals, children’s music from Sammie Haynes, and face painting
By the waterfront, the Gundalow PISCATAQUA offers harbor sails from Prescott Park, down the namesake river past the shipyard, forts, and lighthouses.
Free entry into the Strawbery Banke Museum all day!
Seacoast residents and visitors alike are invited to join the celebration to promote the health, history, and resiliency of the Piscataqua Region. The complex river system is surrounded by people and organizations working hard to protect it, and their stewardship makes Portsmouth a top destination for exhibiting the rich maritime heritage.

“How Sweet the Sound” A free concert on June 30th from 4-5PM at Mary Queen of Peace, 200 Lawrence Rd. Salem, NH. Musicians include Jessica McCormack, soprano, Alix Raspé Gray, harp Christopher Pelonzi, piano & organ Stephen Poirier, violin James Koczat, accordion. Performing beloved hymns, patriotic songs and works from the classical & musical theatre repertoire. Freewill Offering. All are welcome! BBQ following the performance hosted by The Bishop Peterson Council 4442 of The Knights of Columbus.

Vouchers for Veterans 5th Annual Ride for the Veterans on Sunday July 7th starting 10am at Iron Tails Saloon, Acton ME. Good Food, raffle prizes, 50/50, auctions Live Music and more. Kickstands up at 11:30 am.
23rd Annual Hampton Beach Master Sand Sculpting Classic June 20-21-22nd. The entire area is illuminated for night viewing through June 27th. Saturday, June 22nd – 1:00 – 3:00 PM Voting for People’s Choice Award. 8:00 PM Awards Ceremony on Sea Shell Stage. Special Fireworks Display at 9:30 PM.
Somersworth Celebrates 42nd International Children’s Festival on June 14th and 15th. Friday night’s Celebration starts at 5:30 p.m. at Somersworth High School, with live entertainment. On Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Main Street in Somersworth will be transformed into a vibrant street filled with lots of fun for the kids, yummy food, craft and retail vendors, educational exhibits, and talented street performers.
The next Fox Run Marketplace & Expo on June 29th at the Fox Run Mall. On Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. 50 + unique vendors. Free admission.
Madbury Day is on Saturday, June 1st this year. We’re looking for lots of volunteers this year for some new booths and activities, in addition to having all our old favorites. Third Annual Charity Corn Hole Tournament hosted by Dover, Rollinsford, South Berwick Lions Club on August 10th at The Barn at Dunn Farm in Berwick.
