20th-annual Seacoast Half Marathon
20th-annual Seacoast Half Marathon runs on October 26th from 8am to 11:30 am. A fun, fast and scenic 13.1-mile race beginning and ending at Portsmouth High School. Garrison Players presents “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” Auditions
Garrison Players presents “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” a new and shocking version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale of depravity, lust, love and horror. Adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the novella by Robert Louis Stevenson. Directed by Kayt Prue.
Audition date: Saturday, September 27, 1pm to 4pm. Please plan to stay the entire time. Sides will be provided. Actors should be prepared to use British accents. Please bring a headshot, resume and a list of all conflicts January through March.
Callbacks: Sunday, September 28. By appointment based upon the outcome of auditions.
Performers of all races, ethnicities, body types, genders, and identities are encouraged to audition.

41st Annual Apple Harvest Day
41st Annual Apple Harvest Day on Saturday, October 4th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. all over Downtown Dover and Henry Law Park. Free admission. A day-long family event, featuring more than 300 crafters and vendors, great food, live entertainment, kids activities, a 5k road race, and more.

Cornerstone VNA Hospice Nurses Earn CHPN Certification
Rochester, NH – Cornerstone VNA is proud to announce that four of its hospice nurses have recently achieved their Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN®) credential. Congratulations to Ingrid Dietrich, RN, CHPN; Karen Baldiga, RN, CHPN; Teresa Ferry, RN, OMS, CHPN, Hospice Quality & Education Coordinator; and Linda Dalessandri, RN, CHPN for successfully completing the rigorous CHPN examination.
The CHPN credential is awarded to experienced hospice and palliative care registered nurses who demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in this specialty. To qualify, applicants must have at least 500 hours of hospice and palliative nursing practice within the past 12 months, or 1,000 hours within the past 24 months.
“This achievement demonstrates their commitment to ensuring the highest quality care for our patients at end of life,” said Lisa Nichols, RN, MSN, CCM, Hospice and Palliative Care Director at Cornerstone VNA. “It recognizes their unique skills in supporting both patients and families with compassion and dignity.”
