The Next Don’t Trash Dover Litter Collection Walk is on Saturday, August 26, 9:30-10:30am and will meet at the front entrance of Garrison School. The Litter Collection Walk is open to all and is a great way to get some exercise, meet new people, and help out the community. Don’t Trash Dover provides the bags and has litter grabbers and safety vests available to loan, but bringing your own gloves is recommended

Volunteer Opportunities

The Carriage Barn Equine Adaptive Therapy Programs is looking for volunteers to assist with Therapeutic Horseback Riding & Carriage Driving, Fundraising, Events, and Fun Activities. Volunteers are needed at various times throughout the week to work with horses and clients. Teens, adults and retirees welcome (volunteers must be at least 14 years old). Experience and horse knowledge is a plus, but not required. Are you a student with a community service requirement (Honor Society, Scouts, 4-H, Graduation)? Garrison Players Arts Center is holding auditions for the Fall production of Agatha Christie’s AND THEN THERE WERE NONE. Directed by Carol MacDonald, Assistant Director: Don LaDuke.

Auditions: Sunday, August 6, 2:00pm-4:00pm & Monday, August 7, 7:00pm-9:00pm.
Callbacks: Wednesday, August 9, 7:00pm-9:00 pm at Garrison Players Arts Center, corner of Roberts Road and Portland Avenue (Route 4), Rollinsford.
