The Art Center is honored to present “Rock the House,” an exhibition of work created by our Studio Artists. Some of the best artists of the Seacoast come together to display an eclectic collection of work.
These phenomenal artists show their work near and far, but The Art Center is their creative home. Upon entering our gallery, the iconic and star-studded work of Aaron Stanley greets you. You’ll get swept away by the captivating colors in coastal scenes by Joe Flaherty and the striking abstract landscapes of Tim Gilbert. Dive into Brooke Lambert’s vibrant and textured ocean-inspired prints and gaze at the stunning mountain tops, sailing ships, and rising trees by Rebecca Klementovich. Step on stage to see Darryl Loyer’s sculptures jump off the wall enticing you to question and look closer. These are just some talented artists that call The Art Center their home.
Each of our talented artists expresses their individuality through their unique styles. We are excited to share works by Sarah Cassani, Chris D’Amore, Johanna Finnegan-Topitzer, Joe Flaherty, Tim Gilbert, Seth Hamor, Kate Higley, Rebecca Klementovich, Brooke Lambert, Darryl Loyer, Diane St. Jean, Juleen Stacy, and Aaron Stanley.
The Art Center fosters imagination, creativity, and dedication to the arts. Not only is The Art Center a source of inspiration and growth for our artists, but it is a leading landmark in the global arts community. The Art Center shows a wide range of work from artists located in New England, across the nation, and around the World.
The exhibition runs from May 8th – June 30th. Join us for our Artists Reception on June 3rd from 6-9 pm. The Art Center is open Monday through Friday from 10 am – 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm and by appointment.

Dover 400 Remembers the Dover Heritage Walk from 1979 thru 2002 on Thursday, May 18th from 6:30—8:00 PM in the Lecture Hall at the Dover Public Library. Cathy Beaudoin and Andy Galt share fascinating facts about the Walk including new updated research.
Cornerstone VNA Hosts FREE In Person Caregiver Event
Rochester, NH – Cornerstone VNA, a local nonprofit home health provider, is pleased to announce the 7th annual Caregivers Connect, a special event that focuses on providing support to local family caregivers. This free in-person event will take place at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Dover on Thursday, May 18, from 1:30pm – 4:30pm, and is generously underwritten by First Seacoast Bank.
Attendees will hear from Vicki Kirby, APRN, of Victoria Kirby Wellness, who will speak on “Creating Calm & Fostering Resilience.” An integrative Nurse Practitioner from Bedford, NH, Vicki will help caregivers rethink and reinforce self-care in a way that is attainable and meaningful and most of all simple. The first fifty registrants will receive a complimentary journal after their attendance is confirmed on the day of the event. Respite for loved ones is available upon request.

Ball in the House is an R&B/Soul/Pop A cappella group based out of Boston, MA, whose high energy shows have audiences singing, dancing, even beatboxing along. Ball in the House has performed everywhere – from theaters to performing arts centers, fairs & festivals, to opening for some of the biggest acts in the world, such as The Beach Boys, The Jonas Brothers, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, KC & The Sunshine Band, just to name a few! Ball in the House has appeared on America’s Got Talent, The TODAY Show, The Daily Buzz, the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade, and SBS Culture Club and MBC News in Seoul, South Korea. Their schedule includes Outreach Programs at schools as well as Fundraising Events entitled, “Music for Cancer”.

Cornerstone VNA Holds 110th Annual Meeting and Announces Board Changes
Rochester, NH – Cornerstone VNA, your local nonprofit home health and hospice care organization, held their 110th annual board meeting on March 16th, and is pleased to share some important announcements.
Longtime Board Member and Board Chair, Susan Gaudiello of Barrington, proudly handed her leadership responsibilities over to new Board Chair, Dr. Archana Bhargava of Durham. Susan will remain on the board for an additional one-year term to support Dr. Bhargava in her new role as Board Chair.
Dr. Bhargava first joined the Cornerstone VNA Board in 2013 and has made significant contributions to advance the mission of the organization. Upon joining the board, she began sharing her passion for Palliative Care and encouraged the board, and the organization’s leadership team, to consider adding this specialty service in 2014. Due to its success, Palliative Care is now one of five distinct programs at Cornerstone VNA. Dr. Bhargava was instrumental in the development of another key program with the establishment of the Kiddie Cornerstone Fund in 2016. This special fund provides support to pediatric patients and their families to promote hope and healing at home.
Dr. Bhargava shares, “I am proud to be associated with Cornerstone VNA and in my new role as the Chairperson of the Board. I hope to continue teaming with the esteemed Board members to help the organization grow and progress further as it continues to provide excellent care to the community.”
During the annual meeting, the Board welcomed new member, Gina DeNuzzio of Rochester. Gina has worked at First Seacoast Bank since 2018 and currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Barrington Branch Manager. She has 21 years of experience in the financial services industry while also fulfilling her personal and professional passion of making a positive impact for behavioral and mental health. Gina is a certified financial literacy instructor and a graduate of the New England School of Finance. She holds a degree in Behavioral Science, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT/C) License and a Behavioral Health certification.
Gina shares, “I am proud to be part of an organization that provides a valuable service in the community and join them as a volunteer board member. First Seacoast Bank encourages and understands the importance of volunteering in the community.”
The Board also celebrated and said goodbye to two wonderful members who served for 12 years, Sharla Rollins of Farmington and Ruth Henderson of Barrington. A retired nurse, Ruth served on the Governance, Ethics and Strategic Planning Committees, and helped make important decisions through a time of significant growth. Sharla served on the Finance and Strategic Planning Committees, and spent many years as Board Treasurer, providing clear and concise updates of the organization’s financial reports. The Board appreciates their tremendous guidance and support, and they will be greatly missed.
